ZILLA PARISHAD SATARA THR ITS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERversusMUGUT SHRIPATI BHOSALE AND ANR

Disposal
Disposed Off

Holding

The writ petitions are dismissed as infructuous and disposed of.

Summary

The Zilla Parishad Satara, through its Chief Executive Officer, filed two writ petitions (904/15158/2023 and 905/16606/2023) challenging actions of the respondents. The petitioner submitted a judgment dated 31 January 2026, wherein the underlying complaints (ULP Nos. 25 and 29 of 2022) had already been decided. The court observed that the subsequent decision rendered the writ petitions moot. Consequently, the court held that the petitions were infructuous and ordered their disposal. No substantive merits of the original disputes were addressed in this order.
