The Court disposed of the writ petition, confirming that the parties' rights are governed by the registered agreement dated 18 August 2026.

Summary

The petitioner filed a writ petition against the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) and other respondents. The developer (Respondent No.6) submitted that a settlement agreement had been executed and registered on 18 August 2026, thereby resolving the dispute. The petitioner’s counsel accepted this submission and raised no objection to disposing of the petition. Other respondents also agreed to the disposal. The Court therefore disposed of the writ petition, confirming that the parties' rights and contentions will be governed by the registered agreement, subject to any final order by the Minister of Housing.
