The writ petitions were dismissed as withdrawn.
Summary
The Chief Forest Conservator Regional Dhule and others filed six separate writ petitions challenging interlocutory orders of an Industrial Court. The respondents were various individuals bearing the surname Gavit. After the underlying complaint (ULP) was disposed of, the petitioners moved the High Court seeking liberty to withdraw the writ petitions, arguing that they had become infructuous. The Court examined whether a writ petition could be withdrawn after the substantive matter was resolved. Finding no impediment, the Court allowed the withdrawal and dismissed the writ petitions as withdrawn. The decision effectively closed the proceedings without any further orders.

PER COURT :-
1. The petitioners in all these writ petitions seek liberty to
withdraw the writ petitions and the background of the fact that
the writ petitions were filed against the interlocutory orders
passed by the Industrial Court on order below Exh.U-15.

been disposed of. Therefore, Writ Petitions have become
infructuous.
