The Court held that the order dated 1 October 2026 does not apply to the petitioners whose names were deleted or who have resigned.

Summary

The petitioners filed a writ petition before the Bombay High Court. In a prior order dated 1 October 2026, the names of certain petitioners (Bandgar Laxman Dnyande, Rayate Vinayak Pandit, and Khadbade Rajesh Narshingrao) were inadvertently retained despite earlier deletions or resignation. The petitioners sought clarification that the order should not apply to those individuals. The Court clarified that the order dated 1 October 2026 will not apply to the three petitioners whose names had been deleted or who had resigned. The petitioners' counsel raised no objection to this clarification, and the matter was concluded with the clarification being recorded.
