Bombay High Court
SUNANDA SHRIRAM KATHARversusTHE STATE OF MAHARASHTRA AND OTHERS
- Disposal
- DISPOSED OFF
Holding
All the petitions stand disposed off and the interim relief is vacated.
Summary
The Bombay High Court (Aurangabad bench) heard several writ petitions filed by doctors against the State of Maharashtra. In WP No.2933 of 2019, the petitioner’s counsel sought and was granted leave to withdraw the petition, resulting in its disposal. In WP Nos.11919 of 2021, 3056 and 3057 of 2019, the Court noted that the matters were covered by its earlier judgment in WP No.6549 of 2026 and consequently ordered all the petitions to be disposed of, vacating any interim relief previously granted. The Court also addressed a request to extend interim relief for six weeks, noting that a six‑month stay had already been granted in the related group of petitions, thereby implying that the interim relief would continue for the additional period. The orders were pronounced by Justices Kishore C. Sant and Jitendra Jain.
