Holding

The petition is dismissed for want of prosecution.

Summary

A writ petition (No. 3102 of 2015) was filed by Ramesh Digamber Deshpande and others. The petitioners failed to appear before the High Court on the dates scheduled, first on 25 August 2026 and again on 2 September 2026. The Court noted the absence and inferred that the petitioners were not interested in pursuing the relief sought. Consequently, the Court held that there was a want of prosecution. The petition was therefore dismissed.

              PER COURT :-

              1. On 25.08.2026, this Court passed an order recording

the absence of the petitioners and directed that the matter be

              listed today for dismissal.

              2. Today, when the matter was called out, none appeared

on behalf of the petitioners. It is evident that the petitioners are

not interested in prosecuting this matter further.

              3. In view of the above, the petition is dismissed for want

              of prosecution.

                                                         (SACHIN S. DESHMUKH, J.)
