Holding

The writ petition is allowed to be withdrawn and the case is disposed of.

Summary

The petitioner, Varsha Navin Hiranandani, filed a criminal writ petition seeking relief against the respondents and the State of Maharashtra. The court had earlier ordered mediation, appointing Advocate‑Mediator Vijay Amrutlal Rajnet, who conducted several sessions between January and August 2026, resulting in a settlement. The petitioner’s counsel submitted a praecipe indicating the matter was settled and requested withdrawal of the petition, and no petitioner appeared in court. The respondents presented the consent terms of the settlement, which the court marked for identification. The court allowed the withdrawal of the writ petition and disposed of the matter, also commending the mediator’s efforts.
