The writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty to approach the Hon’ble Minister.

Summary

Petitioners Dadasaheb Hausrao Khedkar and others filed a writ petition seeking relief against respondents. After the Supreme Court’s decision in Gurudassing Nawoosing Panjwani v. State of Maharashtra, the petitioners moved to withdraw the petition and asked for liberty to approach the Hon’ble Minister for a revision. The respondents raised no objection. The Court, relying on the Supreme Court precedent and the lack of opposition, allowed the withdrawal and granted the requested liberty. It directed the Minister to consider the matter within six months and ordered that any stay remain effective until a revision is filed before the Minister.
