Holding
The petition is covered by the earlier decision and must be dismissed.
Summary
Dr. Drugakumar Anjayya Kanthe filed a writ petition challenging actions of the State of Maharashtra. The Court observed that the issues raised were identical to those in Writ Petition No. 6549 of 2026 (Dr. Maya Raghunath Kagne vs. State of Maharashtra). That earlier case had been decided with detailed reasons and the petitions of similarly situated petitioners were dismissed. Accordingly, the present petition was dismissed for the same reasons. The Court also ordered that the interim protection granted on 08.04.2022 continue for a further six weeks from the date of this order. No new substantive relief was granted.
