They filed a writ petition in 2024 seeking relief, but neither they nor their counsel took any steps to advance the petition. The High Court observed that the petitioners showed no intention to seriously prosecute the writ petition. Consequently, the Court dismissed the writ petition on the ground of non‑prosecution. P.C:-
1. By way of this Writ Petition, the Petitioners have assailed
the order dated 24.01.2024 passed by the Sessions Court,
Thane, inter alia rejecting the application of the Petitioners
seeking discharge in the proceedings, namely, Sessions Case
No. 604 of 2022. Although the Writ Petition is instituted in the
year 2024, till date, neither the counsel for the Petitioners nor
the Petitioners have made any effort to circulate the matter or
to obtain the reliefs prayed for therein. It is evident from the
conduct of the Petitioners that they are not desirous of
seriously prosecuting the Writ Petition.
