Summary

Petitioners Krushna Bhagu Kale and Baban Dhondiba Hogade filed writ petitions before the Bombay High Court. The court’s minutes of order dated 24.09.2026 erroneously stated that the time prescribed for deciding the matter afresh was six weeks instead of six months. The petitioners moved the court to correct this clerical mistake. The court held that such a typographical error could be rectified under its inherent powers to ensure accuracy of its orders. Accordingly, the court directed that the corrected copy be uploaded on the website. The motion for correction was disposed of.
