Holding
The petition was dismissed as the investigation was already completed and no relief could be granted.
Summary
Amit filed a criminal writ petition seeking the transfer of investigation of FIR No. 259 of 2018, registered at Police Station Lohar, Osmanabad, to the CBI or CID. The Court examined the Resource Personnel report dated 19.08.2026, which indicated that the investigation had already been completed and a regular criminal case (R.C.C. No. 81 of 2020) was pending before the court at Lohara. Since the investigation was concluded, there was no basis to entertain a transfer application. Consequently, the Court held that nothing remained for adjudication. The petition was therefore disposed of.
