SUNDARI SOMNATH SALIANversusTHE STATE OF MAHARASHTRA THR. MINISTRY OF REVENUE DEPARTMENT AND ORS

Decided
Disposal
Allowed To be withdrawn

Holding

The petition is withdrawn with liberty to file a fresh petition.

Summary

The petitioner, Sundari Somnath Salian, filed a writ petition challenging an order dated 1 March 2024 passed by the Minister in Revision Application No. RTS/2714/PK/315/J-4. The petition’s counsel, Ms. Aishwarya R. Tuwar, contended that the petition was not properly drafted and omitted several grounds of challenge. She sought the Court’s permission to withdraw the existing petition and obtain liberty to file a new, detailed petition incorporating all necessary grounds. The Court examined the request and found no impediment to allowing the withdrawal. Consequently, the Court granted leave to withdraw the petition and liberty to file a fresh petition, and disposed of the present petition as withdrawn.
