- DISPOSED OFF
Holding
The petition is disposed of, with the petitioner directed to pursue her grievance under the law.
Summary
The petitioner, Bharati Amol Patil, filed a criminal writ petition seeking a court order to correct the date of her representation from 10-02-2022 to 10-03-2022. The Anti‑Corruption Bureau (ACB) submitted internal communications showing that the representation had already prompted action for cheating and was forwarded to the Police Commissioner of Aurangabad. The court noted that the petitioner could now pursue her grievance under the applicable law and initiate criminal prosecution against the involved persons. Consequently, the court held that no further judicial direction was required beyond allowing the petitioner to follow the procedural route. The petition was therefore disposed of.
Issues considered
- What relief, if any, is appropriate for correcting the date of the petitioner's representation?
- Whether the court should intervene in the internal procedural steps taken by the Anti‑Corruption Bureau.
