Leave to correct the cause title was granted and the writ petition was disposed after directing Respondent No.5 to decide the representation within eight weeks.

Summary

The petitioners filed a writ petition seeking leave to correct the cause title of the proceedings. The petition also raised the issue of how a representation dated 28‑08‑2025 should be dealt with, including whether any measurement requested by the petitioners should be carried out. The Court granted leave to correct the cause title. It directed Respondent No.5 to decide the merits of the representation on its own and, if measurement is required, to do so at the petitioners’ instance. The Court further ordered that the decision on the representation be rendered within eight weeks of receipt of the order. Accordingly, the writ petition was disposed of.
