The petition is allowed to be withdrawn and the Family Court is directed to provide the video‑conferencing link if it had permitted the application.

Summary

Petitioner Leo Inas Augustine Rebello filed a writ petition seeking leave to withdraw the petition and to direct the Family Court to provide a video‑conferencing link for presenting evidence, as the Family Court had allowed the application but not supplied the link. The respondent did not appear. The High Court considered the petitioner's request and ordered that if the Family Court had indeed permitted the video‑conferencing application, it must furnish the link to the petitioner. Consequently, the petition was allowed to be withdrawn and all pending applications were disposed of.
