Summary
Aruna Narendra Sawant filed a writ petition before the Bombay High Court challenging the alleged denial of allotment and possession of a flat by the Mumbai Development Authority (MHADA). The respondents, including the Chief Officer of the Mumbai Board, submitted that an allotment letter had already been issued to the petitioner and that possession had been handed over, attaching a possession letter and receipt dated 20 August 2026. The court examined the documents and found that the petitioner had indeed received possession of the allotted unit. Consequently, the court held that the petitioner’s grievance was fully ventilated. The petition was therefore disposed of without any further order.
