The Court directed the Assistant Charity Commissioner, Nanded, to conclude the pending Change Report proceedings within eight months.
Summary
The petitioners, represented by Mr. B.R. Warma, sought a court order directing the Assistant Charity Commissioner of Nanded to expedite the adjudication of four pending Change Report proceedings (Nos. 785 of 2021, 322 of 2022, 325 of 2022, and 623 of 2022) concerning their trust. The respondents, through AGP Mrs. M.L. Sangit, raised no objection to the proposed direction. The Court considered that the evidence in the Change Report proceedings was only partially recorded and that a timely disposal was necessary to prevent further controversy. Accordingly, the Court ordered that the Assistant Charity Commissioner must conclude the pending Change Reports on their merits within eight months of the order, with the parties assisting in the early disposal. The writ petition was therefore disposed of with the specified direction.
