The court held that since the reliefs sought by the petitioners have been worked out, the petition stands disposed.
Summary
The petitioners, Aktar Khan and four others, filed a writ petition against the Registrar of Co-operative Societies and eleven respondents seeking relief concerning alleged deficiencies in the handover of charge to the newly elected chairman of their cooperative society. The respondents submitted affidavits and a communication indicating that the complete charge had been handed over to the new chairman. Counsel for the petitioners acknowledged the handover but pointed out procedural shortcomings that needed to be rectified with the former committee and the Registrar. The court examined the submissions and noted that the reliefs sought by the petitioners had already been worked out between the parties. Consequently, the court disposed of the petition without further orders.
