Disposal
DISMISSED

Holding

The petition is infructuous and is dismissed.

Summary

The State of Maharashtra filed a criminal writ petition against Tirthsingh Sanghera seeking relief. The respondent’s counsel submitted that the underlying criminal case (STCC No.231/2012) had already been disposed of by the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Taloda on 6 February 2023. The High Court examined the submission and the accompanying order, concluding that the writ petition had become infructuous. Consequently, the Court dismissed the petition as infructuous and ordered its disposal. No substantive merits of the original criminal case were addressed, as the petition was deemed moot.
