Bombay High Court
SACHIN BALASAHEB DAFALversusTHE SECRETARY PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARMENT AND OTHERS
- Disposal
- DISPOSED OFF
Holding
The writ petition is dismissed as the matter is covered by the earlier decision in Writ Petition No. 6549 of 2026.
Summary
The petitioner, Dr. Sachin Balasaheb Dafal, filed a writ petition challenging actions of the Secretary, Public Health Department and others. The Court observed that the issues raised were identical to those decided in Writ Petition No. 6549 of 2026 (Dr. Maya Raghunath Kagne vs. State of Maharashtra). Relying on the detailed reasoning of that coordinate bench, the Court found no merit in the present petition. Consequently, the petition was dismissed. However, the interim protection granted in the earlier case was extended to the present matter for a further six weeks from the date of the order.
