Holding

The petition is dismissed and the petitioner is directed to approach the Grievance Redressal Committee for resolution of her grievance.

Summary

Archana Bandopant Joshi filed a writ petition before the Bombay High Court, Aurangabad Bench, challenging an action of the State of Maharashtra. The Court observed that the petitioner’s grievance falls within the purview of the Grievance Redressal Committee established under the Government Resolution dated 27 March 2024. Accordingly, the Court directed the petitioner to approach that Committee and allowed her to annex the Court’s decisions on which she relies. The Court ordered the Committee to decide the representation within sixteen weeks of receipt of this order. The writ petition was therefore disposed of without further adjudication on the merits.
