The petition is dismissed for want of prosecution.

Summary

The petitioners, a charitable organization, filed a writ petition in 2018 challenging the course fees for the academic year 2018‑2019 imposed by the Higher and Technical Education Department. The petition remained inactive for several years, with no appearances or filings by the petitioners. The Court observed that the petitioners had lost interest in prosecuting the case. Consequently, the Court dismissed the petition on the ground of want of prosecution. No substantive merits of the fee dispute were addressed.

                                                  AJIT B. KADETHANKAR, JJ.

                                     DATE : 2nd FEBRUARY 2026.
P.C:

1. The prayer of the petition shows that the petitioners have

grievance in respect of the course fees for the academic year 2018-

2019. The petition is filed in the year 2018 and is not moved by the

petitioner till this date. Today also nobody appears for the petitioners.

2. It seems that the petitioners have lost their interest in prosecuting

the petition. The same stands dismissed for want of prosecution.
