Summary
The accused, Mehul Anilbhai Mohanji Rana, was arrested on 11 October 2025 and has been in custody since. He applied for temporary bail through a jail application, citing the need to provide financial assistance to his family and his good conduct while in jail. The court noted the jail report confirming his good conduct and the fact that he had not previously been released on temporary bail. Considering these grounds, the court ordered that he be released on temporary bail for a period of seven days upon furnishing a personal bond of Rs.5,000, subject to reporting to the police twice a week and surrendering to the jail at the end of the period. The order was made absolute and the registry was directed to forward the writ to the concerned jail authority.
