Summary
The applicant, Vijaypal Devilal Shankarlal Mina, filed a regular bail application before the filing of a charge-sheet in a criminal case. After hearing, the applicant's counsel sought permission to withdraw the bail application while reserving the right to file a fresh application before the Sessions Court after the charge-sheet is filed. The learned Judge considered the request and found no objection to allowing the withdrawal. Permission to withdraw the application was granted, and the applicant was given liberty to re‑apply later. The court disposed of the present application as withdrawn without examining the merits of the bail claim.
