The court granted temporary bail for one day with police custody, despite the applicant's request for a 30‑day period.

Summary

Alimamad @ Anvar Pirmamad Khalifa applied for temporary bail, seeking a 30‑day release to attend his niece's marriage. The State opposed the application. The applicant waived service of notice on behalf of the State. Considering the facts, the court found the application merited consideration and partially allowed it, granting bail for only one day (12‑Feb‑2026) from 9 am to 6 pm, subject to police custody and with costs borne by the Government. The applicant must surrender to the jail authority after the bail period expires. The order was signed by Justice Utkarsh Thakorbhai Desai.
