38-RULE ABSOLUTE/ALLOWED @ FH

Holding

The Court partially allowed the application, granting temporary bail for ten days subject to bond and surety conditions.

Summary

Arsan @ Armaan @ Bholu Salimbhai Ishabhai Lakhani applied for temporary bail, citing the death of his grandmother as a compassionate ground. The State, through its counsel, waived service of notice. The High Court examined the application and, finding the ground sufficient, partially allowed it by granting temporary bail for ten days. The bail was conditioned on a personal bond of Rs.25,000 with an equal surety, daily police reporting, and surrender to the jail at the end of the period. The Court expressly barred any further extension of the bail and refused any application to reduce the bail amount. The order was signed by Justice Utkarsh Thakorbhai Desai.
