Holding

The Court permitted the withdrawal of the group of petitions, disposing them as withdrawn without addressing the merits.

Summary

The petitioners sought to withdraw a group of special civil applications filed against the LD. Principal Judge, District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission and others, after a Consumer Forum order under the Gujarat Protection of Interests of Depositors (In Financial Establishments) Act, 2003 remained unexecuted. Their counsel argued that there was no reverse order and requested permission to withdraw the petitions. The Court granted the request, stating it had not examined the merits and that any interim relief previously granted was vacated. The petitions were consequently disposed of as withdrawn, with a note that they could be revived if needed.
