Summary
The petitioner, Sanjaybhai Bhanubhai Chudasama, filed a Special Criminal Application seeking parole leave for 30 days. The court considered the grounds presented and the circumstances of the case, and exercised its discretion in favor of the applicant. It partially allowed the application, granting parole for 21 days from the date of actual release, subject to a personal bond of Rs.25,000 and two sureties of equal amount. Additional conditions were imposed: the applicant must not enter the local limits of Jarod Police Station except to mark daily presence and must surrender to jail authorities at the end of the parole period. The court also ruled that no further reduction of the bond amount would be entertained and no further extensions of parole would be granted.
