Do I have to use the Court Diary to bill?
No. A bill can be raised on its own. Raising it from a hearing just saves you re-entering what the diary already knows.
Can I bill for work that is not an appearance?
Yes. Drafting, conferences, opinions and expenses go on the same bill as separate lines.
Does it handle GST or produce a tax invoice?
Billing tracks what you raised, what was paid and what is outstanding. It is a practice ledger, not an accounting package, and it does not replace your tax filings.
