The built-in library gives you ready-made, reviewed templates you fill in. Custom Templates lets you bring your own agreement and have MAYA turn it into a reusable template, so your firm's own drafts work the same way.
Does MAYA change the wording of my agreement?
No. MAYA keeps your wording and marks the parts that vary — names, dates, amounts, terms — as fillable placeholders. You review the fields before saving, and you can edit them.
What can I import?
You can upload a PDF (up to 44 MB) or paste the text of an agreement. MAYA builds the template from whichever you provide.
Can I edit a template after MAYA builds it?
Yes. Every custom template is saved to My Templates where you can rename it, adjust its fields, and reuse it to draft contracts whenever you need.
Are my imported documents and templates private?
Yes. Documents you import and templates you create are stored under your account only. They are never shared across accounts or used to train any AI model.
