Patna High Court

Krishna PaswanversusThe State of Bihar

Decided
Disposal
DISMISSED

Holding

The review application is dismissed as there was valid notice and hearing, and no violation of natural justice.

Summary

Krishna Paswan, originally respondent No.6 in a civil writ case, filed a review application (Civil Review No.338 of 2024) challenging the order dated 26‑09‑2024 which had set aside earlier orders of the Deputy Collector (Land Reforms) and the Circle Officer and remanded the matter for a fresh hearing. The petitioner alleged that the review order was passed without his presence, that notice was not served, and that this violated the principles of natural justice. The High Court examined the service of notice and found that it had been validly served on all private respondents, including the petitioner, and that both parties had been heard before the order was passed. Consequently, the Court held that there was no merit in the review application. The review petition was therefore dismissed.
