The regular bail application is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh bail application after charge‑framing.

Summary

The petitioner, Surendra Yadav, applied for regular bail in a criminal case involving offences under the IPC, Arms Act, Explosive Substance Act and UPA Act. Earlier, a group of co‑accused had obtained regular bail, which was later rejected, and they were directed to renew their bail plea after charge‑framing. After charges were framed against the petitioner on 30‑Oct‑2025, he filed a fresh bail application (Cr. Misc. No.9585 of 2026). The petitioner’s counsel sought permission to withdraw this bail application and to be allowed to file a fresh petition after charge‑framing. The Court granted permission to withdraw. Consequently, the bail application was dismissed as withdrawn.
