Summary

Vikash Mishra filed a petition in the Patna High Court seeking modification of an earlier order dated 01‑09‑2025 in Criminal Miscellaneous No.55690 of 2025. The petitioner claimed that, in compliance with an order dated 18‑02‑2026, he had deposited Rs 2,000 in the Advocates’ Association account on 24‑02‑2026. The court examined the deposit and the reasons advanced in the application and decided to allow the modification. It also granted the petitioner four weeks to surrender before the concerned court. Consequently, the earlier order was modified to reflect the deposit and the new time‑frame.

Issues considered

  • Whether the order dated 01‑09‑2025 in Cr. Misc. No.55690 of 2025 should be modified in view of the petitioner’s deposit of Rs 2,000 and the reasons stated in the application?
