The court granted a further four weeks to the petitioner to surrender, thereby modifying the original bail order.
Summary
The petitioner, Rakesh Sah, was granted six weeks to surrender before the concerned court as part of a bail order dated 21-05-2025. He was unable to surrender within that period due to unavoidable circumstances and applied for an extension. The State of Bihar, represented by an A.P.P., raised no objection to the request. The Patna High Court, after hearing both sides, allowed the modification application and granted an additional four weeks for surrender. Consequently, the original bail order was modified to reflect the new time limit.
