Patna High Court

Rabin Mukhiya @ Ravin KumarversusThe State of Bihar

Decided
Disposal
BAIL GRANTED

Holding

The court granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner subject to specified conditions.

Summary

The petitioner, a 19‑year‑old resident of Bhith village, applied for anticipatory bail anticipating arrest in a case (PS‑316/2025) involving numerous offences under the B.N.S. and the Arms Act. He claimed a clean antecedent and alleged that he was falsely implicated after merely approaching the scene of a mob disturbance. The State opposed the bail, citing the seriousness of the charges. The court considered the petitioner's background, the nature of the allegations, and the risk to his future if detained. It directed that, upon arrest or surrender within six weeks, the petitioner be released on bail of Rs.10,000 with two sureties, one of whom must be his father, under Section 482(2) of the B.N.S.S. The application was allowed.
