Holding
The petitioner's bail application is denied as there are no fresh grounds to revisit the earlier order.
Summary
The petitioner, Satish Kumar, was charged in a 2022 case for murder under Section 302 IPC, criminal conspiracy under Section 120B IPC, and illegal possession of arms under Section 27 of the Arms Act, alleged to have fired on an informant’s father resulting in death. He applied for bail before the Patna High Court, having previously been denied bail in a 2024 order. The petitioner argued for release, but the court found no fresh ground to revisit the earlier decision. The court reiterated that the earlier bail denial remains valid and that the petitioner’s circumstances have not changed. Consequently, the bail application was rejected. The order was delivered by Justice Ramesh Chand Malviya.
