DISMISSED

Holding

Bail was denied to the petitioner.

Summary

The petitioner, Yuvraj Singh, sought bail after being implicated in a fraud scheme where a company advertised private job placements and collected money from unemployed candidates. The prosecution alleged that the petitioner, along with co‑accused Akhilesh Yadav, orchestrated the deception, leading to charges under Sections 318(4), 303(2), 338, 336(3) and 340(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The court noted that a similarly situated co‑accused had already been denied bail in a related matter. Considering the seriousness of the alleged cheating and the pending charges, the bench was not inclined to grant bail. Consequently, the bail application was dismissed.
