Holding
The court upheld its earlier decision and dismissed the petitioner's regular bail application.
Summary
Ram Pravesh Kumar was arrested in connection with a cyber fraud case (Cyber P.S. Case No. 18 of 2025) under Sections 303(2), 319(2), 318(4) of the B.N.S. and Sections 66(C) and 66(D) of the Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008. He applied for regular bail for the second time, claiming that the trial was not progressing and that he had been in custody since 7 March 2025. The petitioner’s counsel argued that the delay justified bail, but the court noted the seriousness of the alleged cyber fraud. The High Court found no sufficient ground to revisit its earlier order denying bail. Consequently, the bail application was dismissed again.
