The Court allowed the modification of the earlier order, granting the petitioner four weeks to surrender before the concerned court.

Summary

The petitioner, Rameshwar Choudhari, filed an application seeking modification of the order dated 22 September 2025 in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 58479 of 2025. The petitioner claimed that, pursuant to an order dated 16 January 2026, he had deposited Rs. 3,000 in the Advocates' Association account of the Patna High Court on 5 April 2026. The learned counsel for the petitioner argued that the deposit satisfied the condition imposed by the earlier order and that the petitioner should be allowed additional time to surrender before the concerned court. The Court examined the submission and found the deposit satisfactory. Consequently, the Court allowed the modification application, altered the earlier order accordingly, and granted the petitioner four weeks to surrender before the concerned court.
