The Court extended the deadline for surrender to 01‑05‑2026, modifying the earlier order to the extent indicated.

Summary

The petitioner, Parmeshwar Ram, filed an application seeking modification of the order dated 08‑10‑2025 which had fixed a deadline for his surrender before the learned District Court. He requested a further extension of time to surrender. Counsel for the State opposed the request. The Court, after hearing the parties, considered the reasons assigned in the modification application and found them sufficient to grant an additional extension. Consequently, the deadline for surrender was extended to 01‑05‑2026 while the remaining provisions of the original order were left intact. The modification application was thereafter disposed of.
