The bail application was dismissed.

Summary

The petitioner, Pammi @ Shahanwaj, applied for regular bail in a case registered under Sections 109(1), 303(2) & 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Section 27 of the Arms Act. The prosecution alleges that on 29 September 2025 the petitioner, along with an accomplice, chased an informant, shot him in the right arm and stole Rs. 50,000. The petitioner contended innocence and argued that he had not committed any offence, having been in custody since 28 November 2025. The State opposed bail, highlighting two prior criminal antecedents and the direct allegation of firing. After considering the facts, the court dismissed the bail application, noting that its observations were prima facie and limited to the bail matter.
