The Court corrected the clerical error, reading the reference as 'Bakhri PS Case No. 172 of 2016'.
Summary
The petitioner, Jaykant Sahu, challenged a typographical error in the order dated 23-04-2026 where the case number was recorded as 'Bakhri PS Case No. 172 of 2026' instead of the correct year 2016. The petitioner, through counsel Mr. Prabhat Kumar, sought a correction of this clerical mistake. The Court examined the submission and held that the error was purely typographical and did not affect the substantive content of the order. Accordingly, the Court directed that the reference be read as 'Bakhri PS Case No. 172 of 2016'. The order dated 23-04-2026 was modified to reflect this correction. No other substantive changes were made.
