Holding

The court granted regular bail to the petitioner with specified conditions.

Summary

Bikram Paswan was arrested in connection with an alleged firing at an informant's house and charged under sections 109, 352, 351(2), 351(3), 3(5) of the Bihar Non‑Specific (BNS) Act and section 27 of the Arms Act. The petitioner claimed innocence, stating that no injury occurred and that the allegations were unfounded, while the State highlighted his eight prior criminal cases. After hearing arguments, the Patna High Court considered the lack of injury, the petitioner's custody since 3 October 2025, and his claim of innocence. The court, despite noting the criminal antecedents, decided to grant regular bail on the condition of a bail bond, sureties, and compliance with attendance requirements. The order directed the petitioner to cooperate with the trial and appear on all fixed dates.
