The bail application was rejected as no fresh ground was shown to merit a reconsideration of the earlier denial.

Summary

Vikash Yadav was arrested in connection with a case where he allegedly shot a bullet at an informant's stomach and stole Rs.5,000, a gold chain, and an Aadhaar card. The charges include offences under Sections 126(2), 303(2), 308(2), 109(1), 3(5) of the Bihar Negotiable Instruments Act and Section 27 of the Arms Act. The petitioner applied for bail, but the High Court noted that his earlier bail plea had been rejected and that no new material facts or fresh grounds were presented to merit a reconsideration. The court observed that the petitioner had been in custody since 19 May 2025. Consequently, the bail application was dismissed, with the court directing the petitioner to re‑apply before the trial court after completing one year of custody.
