The order dated 09-02-2026 is modified to correct the case number to Tatarpur P.S. Case No. 83 of 2024.

Summary

The petitioners, Md. Tanzil and his wife, challenged a procedural order dated 09-02-2026 that incorrectly referred to the case as 'Tarapur P.S. Case No. 83 of 2024' instead of the correct 'Tatarpur P.S. Case No. 83 of 2024'. The petitioners argued that the typographical mistake needed correction. The Court examined the submission and agreed that the reference was erroneous. Consequently, the Court directed that the order be read as referring to 'Tatarpur P.S. Case No. 83 of 2024'. The order dated 09-02-2026 was accordingly modified to reflect the correct case number.

Issues considered

  • Whether the reference to 'Tarapur P.S. Case No. 83 of 2024' in the order dated 09-02-2026 is a clerical error that should be corrected to 'Tatarpur P.S. Case No. 83 of 2024'
