The petition is dismissed for default due to the petitioners' non‑appearance.

Summary

The petitioners, a group of individuals identified as Vinay Kumar Sharma and others, filed a criminal miscellaneous petition before the Patna High Court. The State of Bihar, represented by Advocate Nagendra Prasad, appeared, but no counsel or party appeared on behalf of the petitioners despite repeated notices. The court noted that the petitioners had been cautioned to attend a subsequent hearing but failed to do so. The judge observed that the petitioners had evidently lost interest in pursuing the case. Consequently, the court dismissed the petition for default. The order was pronounced by Justice Jitendra Kumar on 28‑11‑2023.
