The Court extended the time for surrender to 13 February 2026, leaving the rest of the original order intact.

Summary

The petitioners, a group of six male relatives from Kochwara village, appealed to the Patna High Court seeking a modification of the order dated 12 November 2025 in Criminal Appeal (SJ) No.4352 of 2024, specifically requesting a further extension of time to surrender and furnish a bail bond before the learned District Court. The State of Bihar opposed the modification. The Court considered the reasons provided in the petitioners' application and the accompanying affidavit. It found the justification sufficient to grant an additional period for surrender, extending the deadline to 13 February 2026. The Court ordered that the modification application be disposed of, while the remainder of the original order dated 12 November 2025 remains unchanged.
