Decided
Disposal
DISPOSED

Holding

The petition is disposed of as the matter has become infructuous.

Summary

The petitioners filed a criminal miscellaneous petition seeking to quash an order dated 29‑08‑2018 of the District and Sessions Judge and another order dated 11‑09‑2018 of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate. Both parties appeared before the Patna High Court, with counsel for the petitioners and an A.P.P. for the State. The petitioners argued that the case had become infructuous and should be disposed of. The State had no objection to this submission. The Court, agreeing with the parties, held that the matter was indeed infructuous and ordered the petition disposed.
