Holding
The court granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner with specified conditions.
Summary
Ekram Ansari was implicated in a case of assault causing simple injury under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. He feared arrest and applied for anticipatory bail, claiming he was falsely implicated. The State opposed the bail. The court examined the facts, the nature of the alleged offence, and the petitioner's claim of innocence. Considering the circumstances, the court granted anticipatory bail subject to a cash bond and sureties, and conditioned it on compliance with Section 482 of the BNSS and Section 438(2) of the CrPC. The order directed the petitioner to surrender within six weeks and to obtain bail from the Chief Judicial Magistrate.
